HOUR Privacy

What HOUR keeps
Your name and card number. The name you punch in with, and a four-character card code so people with the same name can tell each other apart. Everyone on the clock can see both.
Your key. When you punch in, your device makes a passkey. HOUR stores only the public half. The private half never leaves your device, and HOUR never sees your face, fingerprint or screen lock.
Your hours. Each hour you log keeps who you helped, the lane, what you did, the date, and when you punched in and out. The person you helped sees it, and so do you. Signatures and declines are kept with the hour.
What HOUR doesn't keep
No email, no phone number, no password, no location, no contacts, and no ad trackers. HOUR sets one cookie to keep you signed in. It does nothing else.
Who sees what
Your hours are visible to you and to the person each one names. The header shows network totals only: the number of signed hours and the number of people who have them. HOUR doesn't sell or share anything with anyone.
Taking it off
You can remove any hour that hasn't been signed. A signed hour is sealed so the record stays honest. To have your card and everything on it deleted, ask through 9brt.com.
